15th Blogoversary

It’s been 15 years today since I started my blog. Back in the day, it felt really good to fill the empty space with words, like colors on a canvas. There were times when I felt an absence, of something or someone, to act as a medium for letting my thoughts propagate through, and reach somewhere they were supposed to. With time, I found that people, not things, fill the void in our life. The more I connected with people, the less I needed to be “on my own” and fill these pages with thoughts that needed motion. Today, I’m at a much better place – personally, financially, spiritually, and mentally. I’m richer in virtue and character than money, and I’m very grateful for that.

I believe that when we reach certain goals in life, we should never forget the path we traveled, the people we met, the challenges we faced, the happy and sad moments we lived. Enjoying the journey is one thing, but remembering the journey, that led to your destination, is even more important. It gives you insight on where you stand today, and how you got here; keeps you grounded and rooted to the origin.

This is a day of celebration for me, as on this day, 15 years ago, I made a choice to pen down my thoughts, feelings, and ideas on a piece of paper large enough for the whole world to see. It took courage to open up, and I’m glad I did.

Thanks to all the followers, readers, and well-wishers out there. I will try being more active here in the coming months. Cheers to 15 years of writing!
