In a world so limited,

I need to go far,

To scavenge the things needed,

To survive our daily war,

I’m going out for a while,

But I’ll be back soon,

Stay inside, don’t come out,

In this burning month of June,

I’ll bring you some flowers,

If I pass by the river,

And will try to pick some tablets,

To bring down your fever,

I’ll be back soon,

But can’t say how much,

Will I bring back with me,

On my one leg and a crutch,

Be safe my love,

For you are all I need,

Don’t you worry about me more,

I’ll be back soon indeed.
