Have you ever wondered how significant is number ‘two’ in our life? At every instant of life, we experience many things; we make decisions; we set priorities; we make relations; we study observations; we analyse information; and so on. Everything that we do or think of doing has ‘two’ ways of doing it! Let’s have a look at various things that are associated with ‘two’:
• Decisions – right or wrong
• Statements – valid or invalid
• Choices – good or bad
• Relations – strong or weak
• Observations – shallow or deep
• Study – conceptual or factual
• Thinking – subjective or objective
• Information – true or false
• Personality – real or fake
• Character – transparent or illusive
• Vision – blurred or clear
• Style – simple or complex
• Ideas – raw or moulded
• LOVE – true or fake
• Work – easy or difficult
• Question – straight or ironical
• Answer – reasonable or inexplicable
• Words – meaningful or senseless
• Senses – actual or illusive
• Body – strong or weak
• Mind – stable or unstable
• Conscious – inactive or awakened
• Actions – favourable or unfavourable
• Priorities – high or low
• Preference – now or later
• Arguments – agree or disagree
• Race – win or lose
• Progress – part or full
• Task – complete or incomplete
• Wish – fulfilled or unfulfilled
• Desire – awaiting or living
• Beliefs – static or dynamic
• Dreams – strange or familiar
• Interest – nil or full
• Concentration – focused or flowing
• Energy – positive or negative
• Achievements – accept or reject
• Goal – success or failure
• Hope – lost or found
• Prayers – effective or ineffective
• Laws – followed or broken
• Guidelines – adhered or ignored
• Mood – happy or disappointed
• Vibrations – hot or cold
• LIFE – dull or enthusiastic
For all the things listed above, there are just ‘two’ things associated with each one of them. The “IN BETWEENs” doesn’t exist! Everything that we experience in our daily life has just two ways associated with it. For example, the decisions we make, can be either right or wrong; there are no decisions that lie in between the two, i.e., partly right or partly wrong. Similarly, the statements we make can be either valid or invalid; relations can be strong or weak; and so on. But in reality, everything that we experience, lies in between the two extremities. Nature shows amazing symmetry in its various elements, but it depends on us how we use them to suit our needs. Humans, through their highly developed emotions, have learned to live their life not only in the extremities but they have evolved into a species that has learned to survive by adapting to even the ‘long chain’ that connects the two extremities.
In life, whatever we experience is magically related to ‘two’. I have been observing this beautiful mystery of nature from a very long time and came to a satisfying conclusion. “EVERYTHING AROUND US EXISTS IN PAIRS, EQUAL AND OPPOSITE. FOR EVERY IMAGE THAT WE SEE, THERE IS A MIRROR COUNTER-IMAGE THAT CAN’T BE SENSED BY OUR PHYSICAL SENSES, BUT THEY DO EXIST. LET IT BE SCIENCE, RELIGION, POLITICS, BUSINESS OR ANYTHING ELSE, THERE EXISTS A SYMMETRY – THE SYMMETRY OF NATURE. AND THIS IS DUE TO THIS SYMMETRY THAT EVERYTHING AROUND US IS MAGICALLY ASSOCIATED WITH ‘TWO’. THE ACTUAL AND ABSTRACT ELEMENTS OF NATURE – ALL SHOW THIS SYMMETRY. THIS IS THE LAW OF NATURE WHICH I HAVE OBSERVED AND INTERPRETED THROUGH MY AWAKENING CONSCIOUS!”
Now there can be ‘two’ types of reviews to this observation and interpretation of mine – “I agree” or “I disagree”……..!!!
There are other manners of thinking, perceiving, and deciding that involve more than a binary choice and binary options. 🙂
An additional thought…
Often the idea of the two can be that one way has been attempted, cause and effect assigned–regardless of its validity, and the choice can be seen as already having been experienced and thus be set aside for the ‘new’ road that was previously not chosen as a direction to take.
I appreciate your thinking and your suggestions Elisa! And the content of this post was mainly written just to show the symmetry of nature in almost everything – from quantum level to macroscopic world we live in. In reality, we rarely make binary choices; we mostly choose the ones that lie between the two extreme possibilities.
Thanks for commenting on my blog. Your suggestions are really valuable to me. I’ll try and modify the content based on your suggestions. This is how I’ll improve and refine my thinking 🙂
no no noooooooooooo no noooooooooooooo
don’t change a thing!
well, unless you want to do so…(giggling)
I just shared what I thought about when I read. I no need nor desire for you to be nor to do anything other than what you desire for and of yourself!
No problem at all……I gave it a second thought and eliminated the confusion. Now you can give it a reading one more time. And keep commenting on my blog……suggestions are always welcome on my blog 🙂
gr8 observation skills ladkey…lvd dis 1 …. simple yet amazinggggg..
gud job genius seriously lv dis 2 phase of livin jst amazing keep doin dat way!!!! gdlckk
kind of informatin, nt upto ur standard
Some people call exactly this the world of duality, which is closely associated with the human mind. But apparently there is more than this, far above what is considered the most powerful force we possess-the mind- that is the human heart. The paradigm there is completely changed since its essence is oneness, thus no separation, no polarity.
The knower becomes the known, in one moment.
But then again, can you see how we try to transcend this with the help of the dualistic mind? We are already pointing towards a dichotomy/binary!
Actually I believe in oneness; this concept of duality is just to show the symmetry of nature…as I’ve already stated in the above comments 🙂
that one gave me giggles!! I like 58-ness! (i mean that, I’m laughing and I mean that)
like i always tell you. ypu have got a spark in you. the way you see things and the world with loads of positivity simply reflects in youw ritings.. i agree to the duality of the nature bt the ultimate truth lies in ONENESS…!! fr example a decion:good or bad- but we have to take one.. we cannot just deal with both at the same time.. we have two parents but they wrk together as one to develeop us grow us and make us capable of wat we r at present..!!! dats just wat i think..but the way u presented it …its just amazing
I agree with it 😉
Wow! this one of yours is just amazing. I had never thought in this way and when i read i was like actually yes, Almost everything has two ends just like directions, either left or right. But human being sometimes tend to simply go in the middle of these two. For we aren’t perfect at anything.
I had always believe that everything has its own disadvantage and advantages. So, nothing goes without its other phase as its incomplete without it.
Must say you have got a very deep philosophical thinking. Keep blogging 🙂
keep blogging? Oh yes, I will… 🙂
Two “duality” is also an aspect of oneness.
Ultimately everything comes from the ONE, even duality.
Beautifully written Varun!!!
Well done!
