Aren’t you already startled reading the title?
Do you believe in Karma?
This is an understatement because irrespective of whether you believe in it or not, Karma still exists! Do you believe in Newton’s Laws of Motion, you know, the ones you studied in 10th grade in school? Of course you do, because those are laws proved mathematically by equations and therefore make sense in physical world. Almost all objects that we interact with seem to comply by those laws. How different is Karma? It’s also governed by laws no different than laws of physics, in this case, Newton’s laws of motion.
Now roll your heads and try to recall Newton’s first law of motion. Oh no, no need to bang your heads on the wall to remember such things that are all established and accepted over the world for over decades. We have the internet 😉
Wikipedia says:
In an inertial frame of reference, an object either remains at rest or continues to move at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by a force.
In simple words, an object at rest continues to be at rest and an object in motion continues to move with constant velocity unless some force is applied to it to change its state.
Karma says, “History repeats itself until you learn the lessons that you need, to change your path. What you refuse to accept, will continue for you.”
Simply put, things will continue to happen the way they are happening or will continue to be in the state as they presently are, unless you decide to change your path. In all, that’s LAW OF CHANGE and LAW OF HUMILITY put together.
Now, let’s proceed to Newton’s second law of motion, which according to Wikipedia is:
In an inertial reference frame, the vector sum of the forces F on an object is equal to the mass m of that object multiplied by the acceleration a of the object: F = ma.
This one is purely mathematical. But let’s simplify it. It says that the total force applied to a body is directly proportional to the acceleration of the body. This means that the rate of change of speed of the body depends on the amount of force applied.
Karma says,
“You get back from something whatever you have put into it. The true value of something is a direct result of the energy and intent that is put into it. Life doesn’t just happen, it requires your participation.” – The Mind Unleashed
This explains two things. First, if you put no efforts, nothing will come out of what you intend to do. If you need to stop a bad habit, or stop something from happening, you need to put some efforts in the direction that will help stop it. Things don’t happen by themselves, you need to act to do something. You need to use your energy and apply force in suitable direction in order to move your life in the direction you want. Second, the rate at which you want to make progress in life depends on the efforts you put into making it possible. In all, that’s LAW OF CREATION and LAW OF SIGNIFICANCE AND INSPIRATION put together.
Now, let’s proceed towards the final law, and the most famous one, Newton’s third law of motion, which according to Wikipedia me is:
To every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Now, this one seems easy. Any one who have heard of the basic definition of Karma can relate Newton’s third law to it.
So, now Karma says,
“As you sow, so shall you reap. What goes around, comes around.” – The Mind Unleashed
Also known as the Law of Cause and Effect, this is the first law of Karma which clearly means that what you give out to the universe, comes back to you. If you help others, others will help you. If you be a good friend, you will have good friends. And so it goes the other way round. If others help you, you help them too. If you need good friends, you first become one. This is the GREAT LAW of Karma that governs the universe.
Interesting new way of looking at those boring Newton’s equations, isn’t it? It’s so wonderful sometimes that we find such a unique connection among things that seem not similar at all. In the attempt to redefine everything (yeah, that’s my blog’s hidden tagline!), I have found many such connections between things that happen around us, to us, with us. This brings us to the end of this mind-opening reality-altering discussion with another law of Karma known as the LAW OF CONNECTION which says:
“Even if something we do seems inconsequential, it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected.” – The Mind Unleashed
