The Dark Snow

A journey ahead,
Don’t know how far,
Looks like I am trapped,
In an air tight jar,
Can’t see where I’m going,
There’s smoke everywhere,
Though I know my destination,
This distance is taking me nowhere,
We can see each other,
Through the burning eyes,
But our lips are sealed,
Under the fabric of lies,
Everyone’s wearing masks,
To protect their true self,
From the unfamiliar dust,
Piled up on the top shelf,
Sprinkling down like snow,
Looking pleasant but grey,
Maybe I’m to be accounted for,
Turning my world into an ashtray.
